Dr. Marcelo H. Losso currently directs the Immunocompromised Service of the Hospital General de Agudos JM Ramos Mejía in Buenos Aires, he is an Independent Researcher of the Health Researcher Career at the Ministry of Health, GCBA, Principal Investigator responsible of the Research Area in Emerging Diseases, JM Ramos Mejía Hospital, Professor of the Department of Pharmacology of the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Medicine and Director of CICAL (Coordination of Academic Clinical Research in Latin America). He received his medical degree with honors from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the JM Ramos Mejía Hospital and continued his postgraduate training in HIV/AIDS at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in Maryland, USA. Later, he organized a unit dedicated to general clinical care and clinical research on HIV infection in the hospital where he was trained, which he currently directs. During the last 20 years he has been dedicated to the development of networks for the implementation of academic clinical trials on HIV infection in Latin America, particularly in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Mexico. Dr. Losso was the Co-Director of one of the largest completed clinical trials in the treatment of HIV, the ESPRIT study; and participated in the main analysis and communication of the results of SMART and START, two of the most significant contributions to the knowledge about antiretroviral treatment and which are the basis of all available treatment guidelines. He has published more than 200 manuscripts in international peer-reviewed publications. He is currently a Member of the Scientific Committee of INSIGHT, Member of the Executive Committee of EuroSIDA and Fellow of the MRCT of Harvard University. As Leader of the HIV Service at Hospital General de Agudos JM Ramos Mejía and Director of CICAL, he has developed extensive experience in conducting and implementing clinical trials, and has been principal investigator for Argentina of a variety of projects, including a productive one international collaboration with the INSIGHT, HPTN, HVTN and IMPAACT networks of the NIH in the USA, the Kirby Institute in Australia and Eurocoord in the European Community. In the framework of the health crisis produced by COVID-19, his research effort has focused on managing the response to the pandemic at the JM Ramos Mejía Hospital. In this framework, it has obtained numerous subsidies that have allowed the inauguration of a physical plant for research on Emerging Diseases in that hospital, and to develop several prevention studies, including the TraSal project for incidence in health workers, the ENSEMBLE project for a vaccine against COVID -19 and other projects in definition of natural history, treatment and implementation. He has served as a member and Director of the Research Ethics Committee of the Ramos Mejía Hospital and was a member of the Central Committee of Research Ethics of the Ministry of Health of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.

Furthermore, she worked as a Senior Clinical Research Associate in Pfizer and Latin Trials; as a Regional Project Manager at MDS Pharma Services and Whyeth; and as Team Coordinator of the Therapy Area of Neurology and Ophthalmology Units in the Pharmacovigilance Department in Cognizant Technology Solutions. She attended two internships in Clinical Research in the United States, Duke University Medical Center and Pfizer Central Research.

Myrian has a degree in nursing from the National University of Rosario. She worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit at the Clinic and Maternity Suizo Argentina, has experience in cardiovascular recovery. In addition, she worked as an Infection Control nurse for 22 years at the Argentine Institute of Diagnosis and Treatment, where she was responsible for the infection control program of the entire institution. She was secretary of the Argentine Association of Nurses in Infection Control, she served as coordinator of the First National Campaign for Hand Hygiene in 2011 (Ministry of Health of the Nation-ADECI). In addition, he has experience in quality and patient safety, process improvement, drafting, review of standards and procedures, training in teamwork (training in the TeamStepps model), tasks that he currently performs.

Mariel has a degree in Marketing from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa. He has more than 10 years of experience in accounting administrative tasks in companies of different areas. She currently performs administrative and financial tasks. Currently, it is particularly in charge of the settlement of payments both to the Centers and to the professionals of the Ramos Mejía Hospital involved in the projects and contractual issues between the Foundation and the sites.
Dr. Javier Toibaro
He is a Medical Doctor specialized in internal medicine. He has a specialization in Statistics for Health Science and in Pharmacology. He is a Professor of the University of Buenos Aires, and a Coordinator of the Clinical Pharmacology Committee of “Hospital General de Agudos J. M. Ramos Mejía”. With more than fourteen years of experience in clinical research and technical counseling in observational studies for OPS ONUSIDA and UNICEF, he is the leader of TB/HIV studies in CICAL.

Lic Silvia Margalejo Raffín, is a graduate of the School of the Professional Female Body as a Professional Nurse, she developed her professional career in the Army until December 31, 2019. She completed a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the National University of Rosario; She is a Specialist in Infection Control and Diploma in Quality and Patient Safety. She is currently President of the Institutional Committee for the Review of Clinical Trials of the Central Military Hospital and advisor to the Pharmacy Standardization Commission - Directorate of Standardization, Certification and New Products - Ministry of Defense. In addition to her professional career within the Army, she worked in different health institutions, until October 31, 2020 she was an Infection Control Nurse at the Belgrano Adventist Clinic and continues as a CI advisor in the FUNCEI Infection Control Program. She is also an Opinion Leader for 3M and Becton Dickinson laboratories. She was President of the Argentine Association of Infection Control Nurses, and is currently Treasurer of the Argentine Association for Infusion Therapy and Patient Safety (ATISPA). She has collaborated in the drafting and revision of innumerable inter-society regulations and for the Ministry of Health of the Nation.

Jael worked at the Alexander Fleming Institute as coordinator of Phase III and IV oncology studies. In addition, she did different jobs in other administrative and sales companies.
